We have been friends for a number of years, but back in December of 2016, we decided to form a generic group to broaden our interests. We are based in the South West of the UK but travel the length and breadth of the UK to attend different events.

We are a multi period, multi theatre, re-enactors. We are a group, run by the group for the group. There are no rules, apart from the mandatory Health and Safety rules to ensure there are no accidents.

Everyone is welcome under the umbrella of Homefront to Battlefront. We do not exclude anyone because of their re-enactment interest.

If you would like to see what we have been up to lately, please see our Latest News section or our Facebook group page here Homefront to Battlefront Living History Group

We are a non-profit group and raise money through our re-enacting for various charities. Last year, 2016, we raised over £250 for our chosen charity for the year, SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Air Force, Association)

If you wish to join us at an event, please contact us and let us know you would like to attend an event with us. All that we ask is that you attend a Health and Safety briefing at the start of the show and that you have your own Public Liabilty Insurance (PLI). We do not have a policy to cover the group, we all hold our own PLI.

We will prepare a risk assessment for each individual show and we ask that you comply with the risk assessment to minimise any risk involved.

We re-enact to preserve history, to educate and to remember those that fought and endured in the many battles of the past. We expect this of everyone while under the Homefront to Battlefront umbrella.
